GALLERY PICTURES FOR PEG 49

PEG 49

Views of this Peg in Summer, Autumn and Winter will appear here.

To get to this Peg; first park at the end of Manor Road as is shown in the permit or on the web site.

At the end of Manor Road there is a padlocked metal farm gate that has a pedestrian access forward, through two angled posts (inverted Y shaped), to the right of that gate.

Proceed through that pedestrian entrance along the road track and turn first right. Continue on down the single track until it ends where there is another five bar gate with a "Kissing Gate" to the right. Go through the Kissing Gate, turn left and walk on along the well used walker's path. (To the right there is a fence, trees and bushes). Follow this path and once passed the fenced trees and bushes turn right and continue on down to the river bank.

Peg 49 is to the left along the river bank passing through the tree line that divides meadow 1 from meadow 2. It is the first swim in meadow 2. A square metal, white or black Peg marker on the bank shows the exact position of the Swim.
[Note, the Peg Marker may be covered by grass and loose soil.]
